Agfa Cassettes

Agfa describes their cassettes to have features such as reliability, durability, comfort, and minimum weight in one cassette. They are easy to handle and comfortable for the patient. Their rugged reliability is only matched by their light weight and convenience.

Lightweight Standard Resolution CR Cassette

If you are currently using a low volume CR application, our lightweight standard resolution CR cassette will work for you. It is a lightweight push button cassette with a standard resolution imaging plate. The tube side of the cassette is felted for further protection of your imaging plate.

Computed Radiography Cassette Repair:

We provide CR cassette repair by factory-trained technicians who specialize in repairing all brands of CR cassettes to the manufacturers’ specifications. All CR cassettes are fully tested to ensure they are working properly before they are returned. Every repair includes a complete cleaning, re-labeling and replacement of barcodes and latch parts as necessary. All repairs are backed by a 90-day warranty.

Digital Imaging Plates:

Med-X Products can provide you with an imaging plate to meet all your digital radiography needs.Features include high absorption efficiency, excellent homogeneity, and short response time. The plate is designed with a new coating technology. The surface is smooth and gives an improved signal-to-noise ratio. This new electron-beam-cured topcoat allows excellent resistance to mechanical wear and extensive immunity to chemical cleaning solutions.

Remanufactured CR Cassettes:

Avoid the high cost of new cassettes with high-quality remanufactured cassettes. You'll pocket significant savings without sacrificing significant quality or integrity.

Med-X Products would like to introduce our new “X-Tra Slick” cassette covers. After years of manufacturing and distributing Radiology parts and accessories, we now carry what we feel to be the best cassette cover value on the market. We realize that these are disposable items and should be priced as such. We have spent many hours testing different types of plastics, searching for the best product at the best price.

Grids:

Improve x-ray imaging resolution and detail with a choice of high-performance x-ray grids for standard film sizes from 5 x 7 inches to 14 x 51 inches. Special sizes are also available.

Offering an array of ratios, focal ranges, and densities, these grids are constructed with strips of the purest lead available for high efficiency in removing scattered radiation. The lead strips are interspaced with aluminum strips precisely milled for uniformity to support superior images.

Grid strips are sealed in smooth aluminum casing finished in enamel to resist heat and moisture, and delivers years of trouble free service.

CR Grid Adaptive Products:

Protect your grids from daily accidents and abuse with a polypropylene Grid Adaptive Product from Med-X Products. We can encase your existing grid or supply you with a grid and encasement to meet your specifications.

Available with channels or as a grid cap, grid protective encasements are a convenient way to provide grid protection. Built with LEXAN® plastic, these durable encasements are excellent for daily use.
